0 GETTING STARTED

Walkthrough installation of Anaconda Package Manager for Python and briefing of git commands to manage a GitHub repository.

This course will introduce programming for signal processing using Python. It will help to know C and Octave/MATLAB from the Signals and Systems course, as a prerequisite.

In Week 0, we will get started by just installing Python, making sure the packages work, and setting up to install new packages. We will also begin with a DSP - Hello World.

Following up to Week 1, we will make progress and see some insights into using amplitude modulation to making an alien voice transformer. We will also see how to generate a simple sequence of tones.
